Art 6, 7, 8
The Middle School Art courses are a comprehensive foundation that meets the NEW YORK STATE Art Learning Standards as well as the National Art Standards.
This class offers a broad exposure to various art making processes and periods of art history. Along with the art skills Spackenkill students have already developed and are about to expand upon, maturity and a good work ethic are among the most important for success.
How are grades weighted?
75% - Studio Projects (20% is the Final Exam)
20% - Tests/quizzes, written responses, notes, homework
5% - Effort
