We will make homework expectations realistic for students. We assure you that homework will always be a review of concepts learned in school. Most weeks your child will receive a homework packet. The packet will have a homework sheet that lists all of the assignments for the entire week. This packet will also include any math, English Language Arts, science, or social studies assignments.
**Homework Note**
Please follow our daily schedule for assignments. If your child works ahead, they might run into topics we haven't covered in class yet. If they do complete an assignment early, please have them save it and double-check their work after we've learned the lesson together in class!
We know that you have other activities at night. If for some reason an assignment cannot be completed for the day it is due simply jot a note on the homework sheet. Homework should not take more than about 30 to 45 minutes a night, including the reading. If it is taking your child more than that, please let us know. We ask that you please sign and return your child’s homework sheet each night.
We greatly appreciate your support and involvement.
