Mrs. Tess McCool, Librarian / SLMS
The core mission of our library is to foster a lifelong appreciation of reading for pleasure and information, to encourage self-directed learning and problem solving, and to promote strong research and digital literacy skills in our community of learners. Our print and digital collections offer a range of materials and resources from different trustworthy points of view and provide access to varied perspectives and experiences. To that end, our library is staffed with a certified library media specialist who connects our students, faculty, staff, and administration to the resources they need for academic, personal, and professional success in our ever-evolving world.
Book borrowing:
The loan period for all print materials and Follett ebooks and audiobooks is 30 days.
Students may renew if no one else is waiting for the book(s).
Books overdue by 30 or more days will be considered lost, and students will be charged for the cost of the book. Upon receiving the invoice, if the student returns the book, the fee will be removed. Library borrowing privileges may be suspended until fees are settled.
Students will be charged for the replacement cost of lost or damaged book.
eBooks and audiobooks borrowed through the CT State Library may have different loan periods.

Students who are unable to follow these expectations will be asked to leave the library until they can demonstrate appropriate behavior.
