Dear Parents and Students,
It is a pleasure to welcome you to the AIS reading program. I am very excited to meet my students and begin a year full of enriched learning. This year will be filled with activities that will explore the joys and wonders of reading.
One of the best ways to become a better reader is simple...just read! Setting aside time to read to your children or have them read to you daily will not only improve their reading skills, but also boost their confidence and love of reading.
I will be keeping you updated on your child's reading progress. Please make sure that your child brings his/her Reading folder to class every day, and periodically check the folder for notes and topics covered in class. I will also be sending home materials that support what your child is learning in class and will contribute to his/her growth.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me. I look forward to working with you to help your child succeed!
