Suffern Lacrosse was established in 1967. Since 1970, Suffern Lacrosse has only had two head coaches. Coach John Orlando: 1970-1993 and Coach Dave McNally: 1994-2022. 52 years with two coaches is unprecedented in most high school programs.
Prior to Coach Orlando, Coaches Art Dormann and Woody Schuck started the success of Suffern Lacrosse.

Our success has been consistency of staff and a commitment to the student-athletes in our community. 'Suffern Pride' has always been a foundation for the success of our athletic programs. Tradition Never Graduates -- being part of the Suffern Lacrosse Tradition is something that stays with you. The lessons learned on the field about yourself, work ethic, and responsibility to those around you who are working toward a common goal - are life lessons. The dedication of our players who commit themselves and 'work to win' has always made our program unique. Suffern Lacrosse has sent over 100 graduates to play in some capacity at the collegiate level. Join the tradition.
