Welcome to the SMS School Counseling Department Website! We are so excited to be working with your child and your family! At Suffern Middle School, the school counselor has a multitude of roles and responsibilities that include working with students, faculty and staff, administration, and parents. From individual counseling sessions to classroom lessons, our department promotes and encourages social, emotional, personal, and academic growth and development of all SMS students.
