PBS Design Squad

PBS Design Squad is a wonderful free resource for Maker projects at home! Students select the materials they might have around the house, spin the spinner, and then choose from a variety of tutorials for projects using those materials.

Scratch Jr.

Coding is the new literacy! With ScratchJr, young children (ages 5-7) can program their own interactive stories and games. In the process, they learn to solve problems, design projects, and express themselves creatively on the computer. There is an FREE app for iPads.
