Hello SMS Art Students... below is the short video of the presentation from Mrs. Berges (art teacher at SHS) and the Suffern High School National Art Honor Society explaining the REACH Out for Art Project generously sponsored by REACH Foundation. The sheet to create the art the sheet can be picked up in the main office or from Ms. Schwartz or Mr. Blake. Artwork is due back to Ms. Schwartz or Mr. Blake by 3/25 (right before spring break)

Welcome to Art 2020!

Welcome 7th & 8th grade artists to Art 2020! As we are beginning the year in a virtual setting and then transitioning to a hybrid teaching environment there are some supplies you will need in order for you to be successful.

Initial list of materials needed:

Couple of regular pencils

Color Pencils (set of 12 or 24)

Set of Markers (set of 12 or 24)

A ruler and scissors

Glue stick

Unlined drawing paper
(a 9" X 12" sketchbook that you can rip pages o
ut of is perfect)

Access to a printer!


I check my email frequently during the day, even in the evening, so if you have any questions you can be sure to get a response fairly quickly.

Google Classrooms have been set up for all of my classes.
If you did not receive an email invite to join the class please send me an email request.
