All students should have either a notebook or a binder with a section for French and loose leaf. Please check my website for new information and the parent portal regularly.
Class Expectations
Be polite and respectful towards your classmates and teacher
Arrive to class on time. Look at the opening slide on the smart board and copy down any homework or announcements in your agenda. Begin the Do Now.
Be prepared with all class materials:
Charged Chromebook
Binder with loose leaf (or notebook) and pencils
5. Google Translate must NEVER be used. It is plagiarism and will not be tolerated. In addition to being academic dishonesty, it is also often inaccurate. You may use a dictionary or wordreference.com to look up words.
6. Review, review, review! You cannot study for French class the same way as your other courses. Learning a language is cumulative, so studying the day before a test will not work. You must be attentive in class every day and review new vocabulary regularly. I also recommend listening to French music, podcasts, and watching movies in French to train your ear.
7. Be willing to speak in French!
