Lesson 2: Introducing Storm

What is a Vortex? A vortex is the circulation of liquids or gases around a central point (axis). Tornadoes and Hurricanes are both examples of a vortex. Vortices, caused by the uneven heating of the earth's surface, the force of gravity and the earth's rotation, sets air in motion, and can turn into one of these massive rotating storms.
