Advanced Placement Biology-Study the core scientific principles, theories, and processes that govern living organisms and biological systems. Hands-on laboratory work is an important component to investigate natural phenomena. A standardized exam in May is a requirement.

Regents Biology/Living Environment-Living Environment (Biology) is a credit bearing high school course that will become a part of your child's official high school transcript. Hands-on laboratory work is a necessary component to investigate natural phenomena. The course culminates with a standardized state-wide Regents exam in June that counts as a fifth quarter.

Animal Science-A one semester course that will introduce you to the biodiversity of the Animal Kingdom. Topics include

traditional areas such as classification, ecology, and behavior as well as nutrition, husbandry and the human-animal bond. This is a project based course.
