Welcome to our SPS Mathematicians' Challenge Series! Our team will be posting challenges for our SPS student community. All challenges will focus on mathematical reasoning, with each new challenge changing in format/style.
Step 1: We challenge SPS Student Mathematicians to engage in a mathematical thinking task
Step 2: The challenge continues with our mathematicians creating their own task (following the same format) to share with the world! We’ll post the submitted challenges on this site and/or in a school-based display so everyone can continue to solve the challenges from our community members.

Step 1: Solve the Esti-mystery above and submit your work to your building Math Coach.
Step 2: Create your own by the end of the month. Submit your work to HERE or to your building math coach. Please be sure to include the students first name and grade level.
You can use this Google Slides template to create your work or feel free to use any other electronic or paper format. If you are using Google Slides, please change the share settings to "SPS Students".
Step 3: Near the end of the month, come back HERE to see the challenges created by other SPS students.
