The Nixon Childrenś Book Award is a challenge open to all fourth and fifth grade students at Nixon. Twenty books are chosen from a variety of genres. If a student reads at least FIVE of the books they are eligible to participate in our NCBA party in May of 2026. If a student reads all TWENTY books (this includes using audio books or having the book read to them), they will receive a book of their choice from the spring book fair. I am currently curating the list for 2025-26, but wanted to provide the books I have selected thus far so students may use time in the summer to work on the challenge. I will continue to update the book list throughout the summer. Happy Reading!!!!
