Hello, Hornet Family! I am thrilled to be joining Sudan ISD this year! While this is my first year in the district, it marks my 7th year in education. Over the last few years, I’ve taught elementary and middle school Math and Science, and I am so excited to bring that foundation, and my industry background, into the high school classroom to teach Business CTE (Career and Technical Education).
Before entering the classroom, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a Minor in Finance. Stepping into Business CTE feels like full circle for me, it allows me to combine my passion for business and real-world skills with my love for teaching. Driven by a commitment to continuous growth, I am also completing my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership this August 2026!
Career and Technical Education is all about bridging classroom learning with real-world application. My goal is to equip students with practical business, financial, and leadership skills that will serve them long after high school, whether they head straight into college, trade school, or the workforce. I strive to create an engaging, supportive environment where students can think critically, innovate, and develop confidence in their professional abilities.
When I’m not in the classroom or finishing my graduate studies, I love staying active, being outdoors, and finding new ways to connect real-world experiences to our lessons.
Communication between home, school, and our community is essential to student success. Please feel free to reach out anytime!
