The SBCI Library Media Center aspires to be the primary resource for intellectual content and envisioned to provide quality education, organized service, books and non-books materials; to support the instructional media materials and empower all members of the SBCI school community to be discriminating and responsible users of information, media and technology.

In line with its vision, it is committed to continuously maintaining an adequate, and well-balanced collection of books to support the instructional media programs of the school community.

The SBCI Library Media Center (LMC) determines its role as an instrument of learning and teaching environment. Hence, its objective is to acquire, organize and serve a collection of library materials both print and non-print to meet the learning and teaching, research, and personal development need of individual members of the SBCI community.

The SBCI Library Media Center provides library materials and services in support of the School Curriculum and instructional programs by way of:

•Providing books and acquiring, and organizing print and non-print materials as well as equipment that will support and reinforce the curriculum and meet the needs and interests of the users.

•Providing materials that will support the goals and objectives of the school and add strength to the educational, physical, social, and cultural progress of the SBCI faculty and learners.

•Building a balanced collection representing all fields of information and making available reference materials for learners’ use.

•Teaching and instructing the use of the LMC materials by way of orientation and guidance  

•Maintaining an atmosphere conducive to learning and to the formation of good reading habits.
