The 2025-26 One Page School Calendar is now available and posted to the Website here. Please be aware, that this calendar is ALWAYS subject to change. We will continue to communicate changes via the Irish Weekly when changes occur.
Adoration begins at 6:30 p.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Church | 164 W. Market Street. All high school youth as well as 7th and 8th graders are welcome. Families are also encouraged to attend.

SAVE THE DATE: Parents’ Club is hosting a Used Uniform Sale on Tuesday, June 10, from 3:30-5:30 p.m. in the STVM student center. Items range in price from $1-$10. Cash or check preferred; Venmo will also be accepted. Don’t miss out on your chance to save money!
DONATE NOW: Do you have items your student has outgrown? SENIOR PARENTS, do you want to declutter your seniors’ closet? Gently used uniforms/spirit wear/sports items may be dropped off at the STVM office during school hours.

Congratulations to those students who were selected as Ambassadors for the 2025-26 school year! Emails were sent to selected students on Monday April 28 with details, including mandatory and other key dates for next school year. An Ambassador Leadership Workshop will be held on May 21, 2025 from 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. on the STVM campus. It is important that Ambassadors attend this event. Lunch will be provided. Please see or email Mrs. Jurevicius or Ms. McCarthy with any questions.
The Cosgrove Gym will be closed for the next two weeks, May 5 - May 16 for AP Testing. Please do not enter the Cosgrove Gym during the day. If you use the Cosgrove Gym in the evening, please put the tables back where you found them.
The Irish Family extends our heartfelt gratitude and best wishes to Strength & Conditioning Coach, Kristina Marino (Coach T); Social Studies teacher, Lisa Bradley; Math teacher Michele Dillon, and Bookstore Manager, Kylie Berlin.
Coach T and Ms. Bradley have accepted positions at other schools next year. Ms. Berlin is following her dream and return to school, where she will work more closely with athletics at the University of Akron.
While we will be sad to see them go at the end of this school year, we wish all of them much success.

Per STVM's tuition agreement signed at the time of registration, please remember that all tuition payments are expected to be paid with the following guidelines:
Current Seniors:
Graduating senior tuition accounts were to be paid by April 20, 2025.
Students with outstanding balances will not be permitted to attend prom or receive their diploma. Official transcripts will not be sent to any college until all amounts are paid in full.
Returning Students:
Tuition accounts for current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors are expected to be paid in full by May 31, 2025.
Returning students with outstanding balances will not be permitted to return to campus for the following school year, including all summer programs, until all amounts owed are received and paid in full. Summer programs include weight training, camps, athletic practices, summer classes, band camp, etc.

The summer trip to El Salvador needs your help! Please review the donation list here for items that will help make our trip a success as we serve and love the beautiful people of El Salvador. As we plan our trip, you can be a part of it, by bringing in some of the attached items on the list during the week of May 12-16. Please prayerfully consider your contribution. God is going to use whatever you have to bless this mission and people with which we come in contact.

Our House Olympics will be on Thursday, May 15, 2025 starting at 12:30 p.m. We will need assistance with setting up the games before the House Olympics start, running games, and cleaning up. We are in need of some parents to come and help if you are able. If you are interested please complete this form: Parent Interest Form by Tuesday, May 13, 2025. On behalf of the Green Street Elite, we are thrilled to announce the 2025 St. Vincent–St. Mary High School Prom: Golden Hour! This exciting event will take place on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at House Three Thirty, located at 532 W. Market Street, Akron, OH.
We look forward to seeing everyone dressed in their Prom Best!
SECOND SEMESTER EXAM SCHEDULE

Prerequisite: Successful completion of Algebra 2/HAPS (recommended A in the course) & Teacher Recommendation
This half credit course is intended for students who are strong and/or interested in mathematics that are looking to accelerate to take AP level math their sophomore/junior year. It will exceed state and national standards for content curriculum. This is a hybrid course where students will meet in person twice a week(Monday and Wednesday) and work online the other three days a week. Students will experience math topics in numeric, symbolic and graphic form. Students will be expected to demonstrate mastery of course material mentally, using paper and pencil techniques, and with technology. Students will work through foundations of geometry, shapes and transformations, as well as trigonometry. Register online here. Registration deadline: May 12th.

The general membership meeting will start at 5:45 p.m. in the LRC (board members meet at 5:30). We plan to keep it short so everyone can move along to wherever they need to be on this busy spring evening. Hope to see you there!
