Ms. Henry recently sent an email reminding seniors about the important next steps in the college selection process, including comparing offers from the schools they've been accepted to as well as officially accepting admission and other important next steps. Please note that this is a time-sensitive issue, so please see that email ASAP for details.
Seniors should continue to visit Ms. Henry in her office during school hours for assistance with post-high school plans and for support with college decisions. Parents may also reach Ms. Henry by emailing her at jhenry@stvm.com or calling (330) 253-9113 Ext. 136.
Lastly, seniors should continue to check their school email often and regularly for helpful college admissions and scholarship information sent by the counselors. Students also should check the scholarship section of the Counselor's Corner as well as the application portals of the colleges to which they have applied or been accepted for valuable information and important next steps.
We are in the second half of the year and getting ready to spotlight our seniors on social media. This year, the seniors, led by Jillian Officer, took the initiative to create their own a senior class page on Instagram at STVM Class of 2025, and this is where they want to post all of these spotlights individually as they are submitted. Additionally, STVM will post the Senior Spotlights to the School's Instagram and Facebook pages as well.
We're helping to make this easy and get these Senior Spotlights started because we know all of your family want to see you shine on social media! It's quick and easy! Complete this Google Form, including the information we need to post it!
Please save and make copies of all merit scholarship offers that students have received from all the colleges to which they have been accepted. Please note we just need merit offers--not loans, grants, etc. Your student should bring all copies of their merit scholarship letters to Ms. Jessica Henry, the College & Career Counselor, as soon as they are received, so they can be entered into Naviance. This information is critical for STVM and will also be included in the graduation program listed under your student, and their accomplishments.
Graduation is just a few short months away - and it's time to start thinking about announcements! Click here for the flyer and to order from https://gradmidwest.com/.
Service hours are to be logged and verified by April 1. Failure to complete the 25 service hour expectation by then could preclude a senior from participating in graduation ceremonies. Failure to complete expectations by graduation will delay the conferring of a diploma.
Please order online for the 2024-25 school yearbook at yearbookordercenter.com.

Kairos Retreat is a retreat that truly celebrates and culminates our seniors' time here at STVM. It is an experience that many of our past seniors have shared was their best experience at STVM. Kairos means "God's Time" and is a retreat led by students for students. The talks and exercises of this retreat center around the revelation of God's love as we experience it in our lives. Adults participate as co-workers with a student team that is built from previous attendees of a Kairos retreat. These 4 day/3 night retreats are held at Loyola Retreat House in Clinton, OH.
The remaining date for Kairos Retreats this year is:
March 23 - 26 (deadline for application and payment: Feb. 28)
There are 33 seniors signed up for retreat. If you missed the deadline and still really want to attend, you must check in with Mrs. Goshe ASAP!
Kairos Applications and Retreat Forms are available to print here and are also available to pick up in the Campus Ministry office. Kairos Leaders will be speaking in Theology classes and answering questions, but If you have any questions, please reach out to Mrs. Goshe.
