IRISH CHEER ZONE @ THE AKRON MARATHON 9/26
We are excited to share that STVM will have a cheer section along Market Street on Saturday, September 26, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM during the Akron Marathon. We’ll have plenty of cowbells, clappers, and noisemakers ready, and we’d love for alumni, families, and friends to come out and cheer on the runners. STVM falls between mile 25 and mile 26 -- right at the end when runners could use some extra spirit! Anyone can join, just show up, but please consult road closures for the day or email amdennee@gmail.com for information on open routes to STVM on marathon day.

CANNED FOOD DRIVE MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 28-FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9, 2026
Students, Parents, Friends, Faculty/Staff, and alumni are all invited to bring in canned food during that time and participate in this class competition. Parents and friends of STVM who would like to participate can donate their canned goods to the class of their choice.
That’s right! This will be a class competition, including the faculty/staff, with the winning class being treated to a visit from The Coffee Truck!
There will also be fun and prizes for innovation groups that bring in the most cans on chosen days. Mr. Donut will be returning to STVM after a lengthy absence and will provide fun, frivolity, and donuts along the way!
So, rummage through those pantries and empty those grocery store shelves. We are collecting canned food to help those in need…You were Made for More...YOU can make a difference!
