WRAPPING UP THE SCHOOL YEAR!
As the 2025–2026 school year comes to a close, we want to thank our students, families, faculty, staff, alumni, and supporters for another incredible year at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School.
This year has been filled with growth, achievement, service, school spirit, and countless moments that reflected the faith, family spirit, and excellence that define the STVM community. From the classroom and campus ministry to athletics, fine arts, and student leadership, our students continued to make us proud in so many ways.
As we officially close out the academic year, families should note the following important updates:
Final grades for students in grades 9–11 will be posted and available in MyIrish on Friday, May 29.
Final transcripts for the Class of 2026 will be processed and begin being sent to colleges and universities next week. Seniors should continue monitoring their college portals and email accounts throughout the summer for any additional requests or next steps from their institutions.
Thank you for being part of the STVM family. Have a safe, relaxing, and blessed summer - and Go Irish!
CHRISTIAN SERVICE PROGRAM UPDATE FOR 2026-27 SCHOOL YEAR
We are excited to share that the Class of 2030 will be the first group of students to participate in our newly-redesigned Christian Service Program at St. Vincent–St. Mary High School.
This updated program has been thoughtfully created to provide students with more meaningful and accessible service opportunities that are integrated into the school day and throughout the school year. Rooted in our Catholic mission and inspired by Matthew 25 — “whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me” — this new approach is designed to help students better understand the importance of serving others with compassion, humility, and purpose.
Because of this new structure, students in the Class of 2030 will 1) have a reduced service-hour requirement compared to previous classes and 2) complete their service requirements during school hours over the course of the school year. There is nothing that students/families of the Class of 2030 need to complete over the summer regarding service hours.
Please note that students in the Classes of 2027, 2028, and 2029 will continue to follow the current Christian Service Program requirements and must complete 25 service hours each school year to fulfill the Christian Service component of their graduation requirements. As part of the current program, students in these classes may continue to complete service hours over the summer, as they have done in previous years.
We are excited to launch this new initiative with our incoming freshmen and look forward to the many ways it will help students grow in faith, leadership, and service to others.

NEW DIRECTOR OF SPORTS PERFORMANCE
St. Vincent-St. Mary High School is proud to announce Dr. David Brown as the new Director of Sports Performance.
Dr. Brown brings more than 25 years of experience in elite athlete development, strength and conditioning, movement science, and high-performance systems. His background includes work with the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee Coaching Education Program, USA Weightlifting, Youth Olympic athletes, tactical training programs, and school-based performance development systems.
Known for his innovative, science-based approach to athlete development, Dr. Brown specializes in building programs focused on speed, strength, mobility, durability, recovery, and long-term athletic growth. His leadership and experience will help elevate the training, preparation, and performance of STVM student-athletes across all programs.
We are excited that Dr. Brown will join current Sports Performance Assistant Nick Fornoff, as the two continue to build the future of Sports Performance at STVM and support the growth, development, and success of Fighting Irish student-athletes.

EL SALVADOR DONATIONS NEEDED
This summer, St. Vincent-St. Mary is once again sending 12 students to serve in El Salvador through a mission partnership with Love & Hope Children’s Home and the surrounding community. During their trip, students will assist at the children’s home, a local daycare, and a home for teen mothers while sharing the Marianist spirit of service, compassion, and faith in action.
The mission team is currently collecting donations to take with them and is asking for the support of the STVM community. Needed items can be found on this donation list.
All donations may be dropped off directly to Mr. Larlham in Room 257 through exam week.
Thank you for helping support our students and the communities they will serve.
