MERIT SCHOLARSHIP RECOGNITION
Please save and make copies of all merit scholarship offers that students have received from all the colleges to which they have been accepted. Please note we just need merit offers -- not loans, grants, etc. Your child should bring all copies of their merit scholarship letters to Ms. Jessica Henry, the College & Career Counselor, as soon as they are received, so they can be entered into Naviance. This information is crucial for STVM and will also be included in the graduation program listed under your child, and their accomplishments.
CAPSTONE 2026
Here are the key dates and requirements to keep in mind for the 2026 Capstone Experience for seniors:

Shadowing Hours
Seniors are required to complete 25 hours of shadowing outside of STVM. Hours may be split between multiple locations, and you may shadow outside of Ohio if you choose.

Kairos Retreat is a retreat that truly celebrates and culminates our seniors' time here at STVM. It is an experience that many of our past seniors have shared was their best experience at STVM. Kairos means "God's Time" and is a retreat led by students for students. The talks and exercises of this retreat center around the revelation of God's love as we experience it in our lives. Adults participate as co-workers with the student team that is built from previous attendees of a Kairos retreat. These 4 day/3 night retreats are held at Loyola Retreat House in Clinton, OH.
The remaining dates for Kairos Retreats this year are:
March 22 - 25: Seniors & Juniors (deadline for application and payment: Feb. 27)
Kairos applications are here to print with more info on Kairos. Please email Mrs. Goshe with any questions..
