Have a safe and happy summer, Irish Family!! For awareness, The Irish Weekly will continue throughout the summer. We will be sending out updates each week about important information about the 2025-26 school year. Please stay tuned and continue to check your inbox for this email each Friday at 3 p.m.
We’ve shared some exciting leadership updates in your inbox! Please check your email for announcements about new Deans roles and the talented educators stepping into them. We’re proud of the continued growth and excellence at STVM! You can also view the email here.
Final grades will be posted in Blackbaud on May 30, 2025. Transcripts will be sent to colleges in June.
The 2025-26 Summer Reading Assignments were released to students this week. They can be found on the Website here.
We are excited to announce that STVM has recently joined the NextGrad College Opportunity Network. NextGrad is a family-owned ed-tech business headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah. They have provided STVM with a digital screen that contains information for our students about their higher education options within our state and regionally. NextGrad empowers you, our students, to continue your education beyond high school by introducing you to institutions, programs, and opportunities that you may not know existed.
It will also showcase information from the College and Career Counselor regarding college application and financial aid events, college representative visits, local scholarships, and other college and career resources.
Additionally, NextGrad gives back to our school annually through their scholarship foundation. NextGrad has paid back over $600,000 to partner high schools in their network.
We encourage you to check out our NextGrad screen in the Student Center. Please note - it is not a touchscreen. Various ads will automatically scroll through the screen.
Student schedules for the 2025-26 school year will be available at the beginning of August. There will be a window prior to the start of the school year to request a schedule change.
STAFF UPDATES
The Irish Family extends our heartfelt gratitude and best wishes to Theology teacher, Ryan Jakubczak, and History teacher, James Rollins, as they both move on to other opportunities. We wish them both much success.
