CURRICULUM NIGHT
Join us for Curriculum Night on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, from 6 - 9 p.m. This special evening gives parents the chance to experience a day in the life of their student while also connecting with our STVM community.
The evening will begin with a welcome from President Dave Vitatoe and Principal Erin Faetanini, followed by opportunities to:
Sign up for the Parents’ Club and Booster Club
Visit the nurse and turn in any outstanding paperwork
Stop by the Bookstore
Explore and sign up for other STVM clubs and organizations
Parents will then have the opportunity to follow their student’s class schedule, meet teachers, and learn more about the exciting academic journey ahead.

ATTENDANCE REMINDERS
Parents: If your student is (1) not going to be in school, (2) going to be late to school, or (3) leaving early from school, it is critical that you notify the school by calling the attendance line as soon as possible at 330-253-9116.
Students MUST SIGN OUT of the Attendance Office if they leave school early.
It is important that you call us first thing in the morning if you are planning to pick up your student during the day so that we can ensure they will be excused from class and ready to be picked up when you arrive. You may leave a message on the attendance line with this information. As a reminder, please refer to the Student/Parent Handbook for Absence Policy and required documentation.
ONECALL EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION SYSTEM
OneCall is our Emergency Notification System that we use to send out notifications about school closures and important updates on campus. It's critical that we have everyone's current wireless cell phone number on file in MyIrish. Please take a moment to ensure every parent and/or guardian, and every student has a wireless phone number listed in MyIrish.
Log into MyIrish
Click on your name in the top right corner, then click "Profile"
In the center of the page click "Contact Card"
Under Phone if not already there click "Add Phone" and select under the drop down "Wireless"
Enter your wireless cell phone number and click "Save"

Please visit the Campus Ministry Page to learn more about getting involved in the Marianist LIFE Night Meal Ministry. The first LIFE Night is Sept. 17, and we are looking for parents to help provide a meal for students.
This is a reminder that the parking spots marked as "reserved" outside of the Cosgrove athletic training room are for medical staff only.
Our team physicians Dr. Kerr and Dr. Adamczyk are gracious enough to come provide FREE medical services to our student athletes several times a week.
Although you may see that a reserved parking spot is empty, it is reserved for medical staff and not open for parking at any time.
Please do not park in these spaces or your vehicle will be towed.
Please note that your picture will NOT be taken if you are not following the guidelines. If you are not in the dress code you'll have to come back on retake day.
The dress code for grades 9-11 is as follows:
Students should be in regular or formal dress code as follows:
Options for boys include a solid, collared polo shirt, a STVM collared uniform shirt, Shirt and tie (bow-ties welcome), or button-down collared shirt and a tie. Dress code pants should be on the bottom with the appropriate shoes following the dress code. A collared shirt is required.
*Boys are NOT permitted to wear earrings, t-shirts, denim shirts, jeans, shorts. Sweaters are permitted with a collared shirt and a tie. Dress shirts must be paired with a tie.
Options for girls include a dressy shirt, a dress, or a regular dress code uniform shirt with a collar. Dress code pants or uniform skort should be on the bottom with the appropriate shoes following the dress code.
Girls are NOT permitted to wear jeans, tank tops, sleeveless tops/dresses, sheer blouses or sweaters, off the shoulder tops, t-shirts, jean jackets, revealing tops showing cleavage nor have facial jewelry/piercings visible.
The dress code for grade 12 is as follows: These photos are the only yearbook Senior photos that are used. Senior photos from other studios are not accepted.
Seniors should be in formal dress code (Collared shirt and tie (bow-ties welcome),or sweater and collared shirt for boys with dress code pants and shoes; a dressy shirt or a dress or maxi skirt for girls). Students may also wear the dress code uniform shirts with collars and dress code approved bottoms. All hair styles must follow the student handbook.

Families, please return your EdChoice Acceptance Form to the Front Office as soon as possible. Scholarships cannot be finalized until the signed form is received.
If you have not yet received your acceptance form from the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce, blank forms are available under the “Resources” section in MyIrish.
Additionally, if you have outstanding paperwork for any state scholarship program—including JPSN, Autism, or EdChoice—please submit the required documents to the Front Office promptly.
Delays in submission may result in reduced scholarship amounts, which could lead to additional tuition responsibility for your family.

Families can easily manage their student’s lunch account online through PaySchools Central. This secure platform allows you to load funds, view balances, and track purchases anytime. If your student plans to buy lunch, ensure their Payschools Lunch Account is active and funded. See details below:
To get started:
Visit the PaySchools Central website.
Click “Register” to create your account.
Use a parent/guardian email address — do not use your student’s STVM email address.
When selecting the school:
Choose Ohio for the state.
Under District, select Saint Vincent-Saint Mary.
Under District, select Saint Vincent-Saint Mary.
If you receive an error messages that your student is not recognized, email ltomaszewski@stvm.com.
If you currently have a PaySchools account with another school district, call the help number below for assistance. You will most likely need to setup a new account with a different email address.
If you already have an STVM PaySchools account you do not need to setup a new one.
Contact PaySchools help at 1-877-393-6628 for assistance with other error messages.
You will need your student's ID to sign up, which you can find in MyIrish on the contact card. Once your account is set up, you can conveniently add funds online and ensure your student always has lunch money ready.

The STVM Parents' Club is excited to host our 3rd Annual Football Tailgate on Friday, Sept. 12 from 5-7 pm. This is a fun and spirited event you don't want to miss this!
Plan to join us prior to kickoff of the Fighting Irish's football game against Warren Harding. You do not need to be a member of Parents' Club to attend. All Irish fans are welcome: parents, students, alumni, fans and friends!
This is a ticketed event. Space is limited, so get your tickets today! Tailgate tickets are only $5 per person or $10 per family. Click here to purchase. (Note: tickets for the football game must be purchased separately.)
Parents' Club will be providing a big spread of pizza, subs, chips, desserts, and pop/water. To keep costs low, we are accepting donations of water, soda and chips. Please click here to sign up. Items may be dropped off in the Main Office during school hours (8am-3pm) on Weds. 9/10/25 or Thurs. 9/11/25.

Students are expected to complete 25 service hours during this academic year. Please see STVM’s requirement for Christian Service Hours in the STVM Course Catalog. Service hours are due in the spring--by April 15 for seniors and May 1 for juniors, sophomores and freshmen.
Juniors and Seniors are expected to complete at least 15 of those hours off campus at local non-profit organizations or with other non-STVM related groups. Sophomores are expected to complete at least 10 hours off campus, and Freshmen are expected to complete at least five hours off campus.
Hours must be logged in MobileServe and verified by a supervisor. Please follow these steps:
Log into MobileServe.com using your STVM/Google credentials. Freshman and transfer students will receive an email in their inbox from TeamMobileServe that will help them claim their account.
If it is your first time logging in (transfers and freshmen), the website will ask you for a School Code, but you can just "skip this" step.
Please enter a phone number in MobileServe as a way to verify your identity.
On the home screen, there is a big blue button that will lead you to a few questions about any service hours you do.
It is important that you provide an email address for the person supervising your service. MobileServe will ask you for that email as you log your service hours. The supervisor will then receive an email from MobileServe asking them to verify your service hours. As you log your hours, you should also be double checking your MobileServe account to make sure the hours have been verified.
We recommend entering your service hours as you complete them throughout the year so that supervisors will receive verification requests right after you complete your service, not months later when they may not recall the details. The whole process works best when supervisors can verify hours in a timely fashion.
We will be checking once service hours are due to confirm that each student’s service hours have been verified.

Please note that this list just provides suggestions/ideas for organizations where you may find volunteer opportunities and you are not limited to the organizations listed.
All incoming seniors for the 2025-26 school year were required to have a second Meningococcal Vaccine (ACWY) before the start of their senior year.
This requirement is from the Ohio Department of Health’s School Immunization Requirements (ORC 3313.671).
Please make an appointment with your primary care physician as soon as possible. You can also check with your local pharmacy or your local Health Department to see if they can give your student the Meningococcal Vaccine (ACWY).
If your incoming senior does not have the vaccine before September 5, 2025, they will need to be excluded from school until written documentation from your primary care physician is provided.
If you need an Immunization Exemption Form, see the STVM website.
Once your incoming senior receives the Meningococcal Vaccine (ACWY), or if your student has already received this immunization, please provide a copy of the Immunization Record to the School Nurse.
You can:
Drop the Immunization Record off at the School Clinic
Email the Immunization Record to clinic@stvm.com.
Have your medical provider fax the Immunization Record to 330-996-0000.
HARVEST MUM SALE
The STVM Parents' Club is hosting a mum sale fundraiser again this year. The mums are always big and beautiful, so it's a win-win -- you get beautiful plants, and the proceeds help fund the many activities and support that Parents' Club provides for our students and staff!
Sale Dates: August 26-Sept. 12, 2025.
Plant Pickup: Saturday, Sept. 20, from 10am-12pm, in the student parking lot behind the school.
All families should have received a “kick off” information email from fundraiseit@pickprogram.com. (check spam folder). Follow the simple steps in that email to participate in the online sale!
