ATTENTION SENIORS!  

NEW MERIT SCHOLARSHIP COLLECTION FORM

We now have an online form for you to submit all of your MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS you have received from colleges and universities, scholarship granting organizations and other institutions.  Please complete this form for each scholarship offer you receive from each Granting Scholarship Organization, Institution or College/University; one entry is required per scholarship. You must upload a copy of your official scholarship award letter with each submission. 

All scholarship information must be submitted no later than May 1, 2026, as this information is critical to STVM, and will be captured and proudly displayed in the Graduation Program under your name. 

SENIOR BACCALAUREATE MASS OPPORTUNITY

Any senior who has a relative who is a Catholic priest or deacon attending the Baccalaureate Mass on May 15 is asked to please email Mrs. Goshe as soon as possible. We would be honored to invite them to concelebrate the Mass.

SENIOR CLASS PHOTO:

The Class of 2026 senior group photo will be taken immediately following morning meeting on Wednesday, April 22. Seniors should plan to arrive on time—students who arrive late will miss the photo.

Dress Code Guidelines

Seniors are expected to dress appropriately for this formal group photo. Please review the options below:

Gentlemen

• Dress pants, collared dress shirt with a tie (bow ties permitted), or a dressy sweater worn with a tie

• Dress socks and dress shoes required

• Regular dress code attire is also permitted

• No earrings permitted

Ladies

• Pants, dress, skirt and top, or jumpsuit with dress shoes

• Please be mindful of heel height if wearing throughout the day

• Dresses/skirts should be no shorter than approximately 2 inches above the knee and not low-cut

• Pants are strongly recommended

• Regular dress code attire is also permitted

For All Students

• No jeans

• No facial piercings (nose, lip, eye, etc.)

• No visible tattoos

Photo Orders

• Order forms for senior photos are available here and will also be distributed at school on Thursday and Friday. Sample photo sizes are available for viewing in Room 329.

• Photos will be ready for pickup when seniors return for Capstone presentations on May 14.

Prom Photos

• Prom photo order forms are available here for those who would like to purchase professional photos taken at Prom.

• Academic Award Ceremony, April 30, 2026 at 7 p.m. (schoolwide event). Invitations to be sent soon.

• Senior Sunset, April 30, 2026 (immediately following awards), approximately 9:30 p.m.

• Senior Farewell Mass, May 1, 2026 at 10 a.m. LeBron James Arena. Senior Superlative announced after Mass.

• Senior Capstone, May 4-8, 2026.

• Powder Puff/Senior Movie Night, May 8, 2026, 8-10 p.m.

• Senior Graduation Practice, May 14, 2026, LBJ Arena

• Senior Capstone Presentations, May 14, 2026

• Senior Run Out and Picnic, May 14, 2026

• Baccalaureate Mass, May 15, 2026 at 6 p.m. at St. Hilary Catholic Church

• Graduation, May 16, 2026 at 10 a.m. at the Akron Civic Theatre

CAPSTONE 2026

Here are the key dates and requirements to keep in mind for the 2026 Capstone Experience for seniors:

Capstone Experience Timeline: Your Capstone can take place at any point during the school year, but the dedicated Capstone Week is May 4-8, 2026.

Shadowing Hours
Seniors are required to complete 25 hours of shadowing outside of STVM. Hours may be split between multiple locations, and you may shadow outside of Ohio if you choose.

Community Sponsor
Each senior must contact and secure a community sponsor who will help guide their Capstone Experience.
 

Capstone Proposal

This was to have been turned in March 2.

Capstone Presentation
After completing the experience, seniors will return to STVM on Thursday, May 14, 2026, to submit all required assignments and present on their Capstone Experience.

Senior Capstone Experience Packet

2025-26 Yearbooks

For this school year, yearbooks can be ordered anytime through the Yearbook Order Center by searching for St. Vincent-St. Mary or entering school code #3108.

Please note: The price will increase in January, so be sure to purchase your copy of To the Heights now!

ATTN: Senior Parents! You can celebrate your student and express your love with a dedication; click here to learn more.

On Mondays, seniors can wear their short-sleeve t-shirt, long sleeve t-shirt, crewneck sweater or hoodie with uniform bottoms. Monday will be the only day that seniors can wear their hoodies. All other senior gear can be worn on Fridays, as part of spirit day.  

Monday: All class of 2026 gear, including hoodies

Tuesday-Thursday - regular uniform

Friday: All class of 2026 gear, except hoodies.

Please check the Counselor's Corner weekly for information on the college admissions process, including STVM's use of Naviance, an educational data management platform used by STVM to help manage the college application process. 

The Counselor's Corner also lists testing information (ACT, SAT) and is updated weekly with scholarship information. Make sure to check it out!

• Caps, gowns, and tassels will be provided by the school. Do not order these items through Herff Jones.

• Announcements and other graduation items may be ordered individually through Herff Jones.
