COLLEGE & CAREER NIGHT FOR SENIOR PARENTS

Parents/Guardians of Senior Students: Please plan to join us for a College & Career Information Night at STVM on Sept. 24.

When: Wednesday, Sept 24th

Time: 5:00 - 6:00 PM

Location: Room 256

Review application timelines and deadlines
Review and answer Common App questions
Establish parent Naviance Accounts (this is the system that holds all of your student's college application information, including: interest inventories, letters of recommendation, and other important data)
Review scholarship information and deadlines
FAFSA review and questions

SUMMIT COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL COLLEGE FAIR

Join us on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2025 from 6-7:30 p.m. in the LeBron James Arena for the annual Summit County College Fair. Representatives from colleges and universities from Ohio and beyond will be on hand to talk with you about their institutions and answer your questions about the admissions process. This fair is open to all area high school students, so invite your friends!

COLLEGE APPLICATIONS/NAVIANCE & SCHOLARSHIPS

Please check the Counselor's Corner weekly for information on the college admissions process, including STVM's use of Naviance, an educational data management platform used by STVM to help manage the college application process.

The Counselor's Corner also lists testing information (ACT, SAT) and is updated weekly with scholarship information. Make sure to check it out!

Attention Seniors & Juniors: Kairos RETREATS

Kairos Retreat is a retreat that truly celebrates and culminates our seniors' time here at STVM. It is an experience that many of our past seniors have shared was their best experience at STVM. Kairos means "God's Time" and is a retreat led by students for students. The talks and exercises of this retreat center around the revelation of God's love as we experience it in our lives. Adults participate as co-workers with the student team that is built from previous attendees of a Kairos retreat. These 4 day/3 night retreats are held at Loyola Retreat House in Clinton, OH.

The dates for Kairos Retreats this year are:

November 9 - 12: Seniors only (deadline for application and payment: Oct. 24)
January 18 - 21: Seniors & Juniors (deadline for application and payment: Dec. 19)
March 22 - 25: Seniors & Juniors (deadline for application and payment: Feb. 27)

Fall senior night dates

We are excited to celebrate our Fall Sports Senior Nights and honor the hard work and dedication of our senior athletes. Mark your calendars and join us in recognizing their achievements on their designated nights this season! The celebrations will take place prior to the start of the varsity match!

College Bound Meeting

We will be having an informational meeting on October 6th at 6:30pm in the student center. This meeting will cover all the necessary steps in becoming a collegiate athlete. All parents and students are encouraged to attend!
