for the Weeks of February 16th - February 26th

1.  knowledge- facts and ideas, or information 

Example sentence: I am reading books to gain knowledge about cooking.

2. curious- eager to find out or learn about something

      Example sentence: My little brother is curious about axolotls.

3. motion- movement, gesture, or the act of moving

      Example sentence: My mom made a motion with her hand to show me where to sit.                 

4. silence- quiet, making no sound, or having no sound 

       Example sentence: The students sat in silence to hear all of Mrs. Shivery's directions.  

5. illness- sick or not healthy 

  Example sentence: Helen Keller became blind after having an illness when she was 19 months                                               old.

6. imitated- to copy the actions, looks, or sounds of something or someone 

        Example sentence: Robert imitated a bird and it sounded like the real thing! 

7. darkness- without light or with very little light

Example sentence: The stars shone bright in the darkness of the sky.

8. behavior- to act in a certain way

      Example sentence: Our parents, grandparents, and teachers teach us about good behavior.
