Religion~ Tell your parents about Station 11. Read what you wrote on the back to your parents.
Lent is for Loving project: The cross has many activities that they can do independently and as a family. Each day of lent ( beginning on Ash Wednesday) they should choose something and color it in. I will collect the unfinished cross right before Easter break and return it to them to finish over Easter.
* Ask your child: Who did you show kindness to today? Who showed kindness to you today?
Before bed: Pray:
Dear Jesus,
You showed great love when You were on the cross.
Help us to be loving, even when things are hard.
Teach us to forgive and to be kind to others.
Thank You for loving us so much.
Amen.
Remember to bless yourself correctly before and after you pray. Remember to use your right hand.

** This week's fluency skill is INTONATION. Intonation is a reading skill demonstrated when students change the sound of their voices as they read so that they sound like they do in conversations. It helps show feelings, meaning, and questions. Intonation helps the listener understand what the words mean and how the speaker feels. Examples: our voice goes up at the end of a question: “Are you ready?” Your voice sounds excited when something is fun. Your voice sounds calm when something is quiet. We practice this in class everyday as we read out loud. Parents, listen for and encourage this skill as your children read their own books to you for the book projects. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________
