Special Education Parent Advisory Council
Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC)
SEPAC is a family-led council created to support families of students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Our goal is to provide input to school leadership on matters affecting the education, safety, and well-being of students with disabilities. We also aim to foster a strong, collaborative partnership between families and school staff to help develop effective programs and services that meet the unique needs of our students.
The Sturgis Charter Public School SEPAC provides a welcoming space for parents and guardians to connect, share information, ask questions, and learn more about special education. We also offer an annual review of Parent Rights in Special Education to help families better understand their rights and available resources.
Throughout the school year, we host meetings and discussions on a variety of special education topics based on the interests and needs of our families.
We encourage all families to get involved, stay informed, and share their ideas. Whether you're looking for information, have questions, or simply want to connect with other families, we welcome your participation and look forward to seeing you!
