These groups of student-devised pieces are a current work in progress, based on a specific stimulus. The students are showing moments from their developing plays which will be sent to the IB for their IA next year- The Collaborative Theatre Project! After the Arts Festival, we will continue to shape, hone and develop them into larger-scale productions and reflect on the process of building a play from scratch, including all performance and production elements.

Each of the two IB Senior classes decided on developing and showcasing a piece based on one or more of the works done in class these past two years.
The first piece is the full short play The Still Alarm by George Kaufmann. Jack Gamble used this play as his Director's Notebook and is now directing his classmates in an absurdist style take on the text - a theory we have studied in class.
The second play is a devised vignette play based on several short scenes and solo performances in our class- blended together to show high school life through the pandemic, also in an absurdist style.
Enjoy!
