Our students are currently in the midst of writing their Math Internal Assessment (IA), an important part of the IB math experience. The IA allows each student to explore a mathematical topic that genuinely interests them and apply the skills they’ve learned in class to a real question or situation. This process encourages independence, critical thinking, and clear communication as they explain their reasoning and reflect on what they discover. The Math Department is proud of the effort students are putting into this work and look forward to seeing their final explorations come together. We encourage to querry your child as to what they are exploring.
We will not be providing lunch on Monday, Nov. 24, as it is a half day.
We will be using Subway as our lunch vendor for a limited time. You can find the order form on the campus page of the website, as usual, or use THIS LINK.
Orders must be placed by 9 a.m. on the day the student wants the lunch, although you may also order for multiple days at a time.
$7.50 for a 6" sub or a salad with chips and cookies. Orders will be delivered to the main office.
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has already signed up for the teachers’ potluck dinner! If you haven’t jumped in yet, there’s still time — and we could really use a few more MAIN DISHES to round out the table!
The potluck is on Monday, which means you’ve got all of Sunday to toss something yummy into the crockpot or whip up a quick favorite.
Short on time? No worries at all — we’re happily accepting Venmo donations and can pick up a dish for you!
Thanks so much for your support, generosity, and for helping make this a warm, delicious night for our teachers!
