Waffle Wednesday

Hello Sturgis East parents! Are you proud of your child for working so hard all year long? Why don’t you celebrate their efforts and achievements with a waffle? Here at Sturgis we have a waffle Wednesdays club where we make and sell waffles to students. All of the money that we raise is donated to the Cape Cod Hunger Network, a local foodbank for people in need here on the Cape. We make waffles in four different sizes; quarter, half, three quarters and full. The prices for waffles respective to their sizes are; $1, $2, $3, $4. Additionally, we have a variety of toppings for the waffles that are free of charge. Our toppings include; chocolate syrup, maple syrup, sprinkles, whipped cream, mini M&Ms, and powdered sugar. If you wish to buy your student a waffle please Venmo me by using the Venmo QR code below, or look up the username @emily-ann-2010 on the Venmo app. In the comment section of the purchase please write your student’s first and last name as well as their graduation year. Thank you so much for supporting waffle Wednesdays and we wish you a wonderful summer!

Sturgis Apparel On Sale

We at the Business Club are excited to present to you our school store. This store was created to support the business club and allow students and families from both Campuses to buy Sturgis branded apparel. This store includes hoodies, pants, and many other items that we the students designed. Be on the lookout as more products will be added as the store expands. The store is officially open to orders starting now!

Summer SAT Prep Class

The 2026 Sturgis Summer SAT prep class for East and West students will be held at the Sturgis East campus, Friday, June 26 (9 a.m. - 12 p.m.), and Monday-Thursday, June 29-30 and July 1-2 (9 a.m. - 1 p.m.). Teachers: Ms. Marsha Moynihan (Reading and Writing) & Dr. Sheila Gilligan (Mathematics). To register, complete the class registration form. Course fee: $295. Please register by Monday, June 15. Email mmoynihan@sturgischarterschool.org or sgilligan@sturgischarterschool.org with any questions.

Students should go to https://candidates.ibo.org/ and use their PIN to access their results.

Students with further questions should email cmanrique@sturgischarterschool.org (East) or jcarman@sturgischarterschool.org (West).

Enquiry Upon Results (Asking for a remark)

If students missed the diploma by one point, or if they feel like their grade does not reflect the work they produced, they may submit an Enquiry Upon Results (EUR). In an EUR, the IB remarks the component(s) in the subject submitted. The cost is $128 per subject that is remarked, it is not guaranteed that it will increase the score and upon remarking by the IB, they could also mark it down. After an EUR students will receive the score they determined, even if it is lower than the initial score.

To submit an EUR for a subject, contact the IB Coordinator, expressing your wish to do so and pay the $128 in the form of a check to Sturgis Charter Public School.
