It's that time of year! If you have any old musical instruments collecting dust in the garage, I can help find a lovely home for them. Donations make up a good amount of the instruments you hear our students play. In addition, if we have too many of something, it can end up in the hands of a student who may not be able to afford one, or be used towards trade-ins for instruments that we do need.
Contact: jbriggsmagnant@sturgischarterschool.org to make a donation.
We’re excited to invite you to the Sturgis College Application Boot Camp, happening on Tuesday, August 19th, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Sturgis East.
This is a great opportunity to get a head start on your college applications before the school year begins. You’ll have support from counselors to help you feel confident and prepared as you begin the process.
Please remember to bring your laptop or Chromebook to Boot Camp. If you need to borrow a device, just send a quick email to your School Counselor—we’re happy to help.
~This event is for students in the class of 2026 only~

Attention Families of Rising Seniors Participating in CAS:
The IB requires 18 months of continuous participation and reflection in CAS. Please encourage your child to keep up their extracurricular activities or maybe even try something new! We require that they also post 3 reflections in their online portfolio before the first day of school next year.
If an organization that you work or volunteer for is looking for help this summer, whether on a regular basis or for a one-time event, we would love to share the opportunity with our students! Please email mbriggsmagnant@sturgischarterschool.org. Thank you!
