8th grade siblings of current Sturgis students need to fill out an application during the enrollment period to reserve a spot for next year's grade 9.

ACCESS for ELs
ACCESS for ELs
All EL (English Learner) students from Sturgis West will be taking the ACCESS for ELs language proficiency test from February 2-4.
The ACCESS is administered each year to all students classified as ELs throughout the state of Massachusetts to provide a standardized measure of academic language proficiency for EL students.

Junior College Planning Family Information Session (Virtual)
Sturgis East and West School Counseling departments are hosting a virtual presentation for juniors and their families on Thursday, January 29 at 6:30PM. College admissions counselors from a few colleges in Massachusetts will be there to help us explain the different components of the college search and application process. We will be sending a Google Meet link in the near future!

Students who are writing IB exams this year (all grade 12, some grade 11) should be aware that Mock Exams are April 7-10, 2026 and IB Exams are April 27-May 20, 2026. Full details can be found on the Sturgis IB Office website. Please ensure your student will be in school on all of these dates. Elective appointments or engagements (e.g. dentist, vacation) should be scheduled for other times. If you have any questions, please contact Julie Carman, IB Coordinator at jcarman@sturgischarterschool.org
