Oct. 13- Indigenous Peoples' Day, no school
We ask that you use the Attendance Reporting Form to inform the school of any absences, tardies or dismissals. The form is located on the right hand side of the West Campus homepage of the website and on your Community Portal. This form should be completed by 9AM on the day of the dismissal. If a need arises to dismiss after 9AM, please call the main office to report the dismissal.
Please come to the main office when dismissing your student.
Start of Year Forms
Forms can be found at the bottom of the home page of Parents' Community Portals. Please note, ALL parents have these forms on the portal, but we only need them to be filled out 1 time per student. The forms are also accessible through the links below and are also on the West Campus pageof the webiste.
The All Student Form is overdue. It is located on the parent/guardian Community Portal and on the East campus page of the website. The Student Handbook is part of that form. The handbook can be viewed on the footer of the Sturgis website and is also available HERE.
If the All Student Form is not completed the student will not be able to leave the campus for lunch.
All Students need to fill out the Emergency Medical Form.
9th graders need to print out and bring in the Camp Burgess Field Trip Form along with the $35 payment.
Google Workspace Terms of Service: As of March 1 2025, Google Workspace for Education requires in its agreement (section 3.5) that schools obtain parent or guardian consent for any Additional Services they allow students under the age of 18 to use. This will impact research assignments in several subject areas, including Theatre, Music and English.

As students will not have access to their cellphones during the school day, except during lunch (11:35-12:30), please try to communicate daily plans with your child prior to school. If you need to reach them, you can either
leave a message on their cellphone to be retrieved during lunch
if it is time sensitive, call the main office and we can deliver a message
If you need to drop something off for your student, please bring it to the office and the student can pick it up there.
All fixed routes for Cape Cod Regional Transit are now free of charge.

Fall schedules do not start until after Labor Day.
LOCKERS: All students have been assigned a locker. If your child plans to store valuables in his/her locker, please provide a lock. Sports equipment can be stored in our athletics area.
PORTALS: New students have not been assigned Community Portals yet. That will happen in the next few weeks.
CHROMEBOOKS: If your student still needs a Chromebook, please fill out the appropriate forms.
The Little Sandwich Shop Lunch orders must be purchased online using Paypal.
For those who do not use Paypal, setting up an account is free and easy.

If you do not receive Free or Reduced Price Lunch, you will be directed to Paypal to complete the order. For those on the Reduced plan, you will be billed for the reduced payments ordered at the end of each month.

Financial Assistance
We encourage families with financial need to apply for this program. If your child has received a free or reduced lunch in the past, please note that the federal government requires that you reapply each year. You can access the application forms on the Sturgis website. For students who qualify for a free or reduced lunch, Sturgis works with Little Sandwich Shop to provide fresh and delicious lunch options.
There are additional benefits for qualifying students including:
Transportation to and from school
Athletic fees
School field trips
School events, including proms and special events
College Application Processing Services (CAPS)
Those who are in this program can rest assured that their information and participation are kept in the strictest confidence.
