Dear Parents and Guardians of Sturgis East Seniors,
Graduation is just around the corner—only about nine weeks away! In the meantime, students will have a full schedule with Mock IB Exams and IB Exams, so it’s sure to be a busy and exciting time.
I’d like to share some initial details about the Graduation Ceremony, with additional information to follow as the date approaches.
The Sturgis East Graduation will be held at 2:30 p.m. on May 30th at the Melody Tent. We’re thrilled about this venue, as it offers excellent seating throughout, convenient parking, and easy accessibility for all guests.
Each student will receive eight tickets for family and friends. Caps, gowns, and tickets are scheduled to be distributed on April 6th.
The tent will open for seating one hour prior to the ceremony. As is our tradition, graduates and faculty will arrive in a procession beginning at Sturgis West, led by a bagpiper.
The ceremony is expected to last approximately 90 minutes.
If anyone attending graduation needs an interpreter, please email Emily Masil at emasil@sturgischarterschool.org.
We look forward to celebrating this special milestone with you and your family!
