GRADUATION
Saturday, June 1st, 2:30 pm
Graduation Invitations have arrived!
Seniors receive 6 invitations to graduation. Each envelope contains a card that needs to be presented at the graduation in order to have a seat in the tent.
Other guests are invited to come to graduation and view the ceremony from outside the tent.
Your student should come to the main office to pick up their packet of invitations.
End of Year Schedule for Seniors
May 17th is the last day of class for seniors. From May 20 through May 31 we have organized a variety of fun “senior week” activities in order for seniors to spend time with their classmates and teachers. Some events are all day and others are only part of the day. Students are only required to participate during the designated times. The majority of students generally participate in these events, however, those that choose not to are expected to attend school. Full senior week schedule will be shared the week after April break.
"Congratulations" Graduation Signs:
Celebrate your senior's hard work with a 'Congratulations' graduate sign!
Lawn signs will be available for purchase now through April 19th for $20. They will be delivered to the appropriate campus for pick up the first week in May. (Specific date will be communicated in an email when signs are ready.)
To purchase a sign, please click on the link below or scan the QR code to order/pay via Venmo. When paying, please indicate your child’s name and the campus they attend. If you do not have access to Venmo, please send an email with the same info to the Sturgis Parents Association at sturgispa@gmail.com and we will collect the $20 when your child picks up the sign. If there is any issue with purchasing a sign, please reach out via email.

Massachusetts Department Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) has teamed up with UAspire to offer financial aid webinars specifically for Massachusetts families.
Students and Parents can register online for the following webinars on financial aid:
FAFSA Completion (1 hour, choose from January 30 or February 27),
Next Steps Post-FAFSA (4:00-5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2)
Financial Aid Offer (5:00-6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24)
Summer Steps (5:00-6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21)
FAFSA Information
If you are the parent of a senior (or you have an older child already in college) and you need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the 2024-2025 school year, you have probably already heard about the delay in the application availability. Usually the form opens on October 1, but it was delayed this year because the US Dept. of Education has redesigned it. Although it was expected to be ready by the end of December, there continue to be some issues with the new form. If you are struggling with the website and getting the form submitted, you are not alone. Here’s an article with some updated information.
