"A jack of all trades is a master of none,
but oftentimes better than a master of one."
Hi, my name is Adam Stump. I have ADHD and I used to think that was my biggest weakness but now I’ve come to realize that it’s my greatest strength. I tried the whole do-one-job-the-rest-of-your-life thing and it wasn't for me. I don't mind everyday being different and tackling challenges. I enjoy solving problems and learning new things; because of that I've done a lot of various jobs in my life.
Professionally…
- I spent +5 years in residential and commercial maintenance fields
- I worked 3 years in telecommunications installing wired networks, fiber optics, and other low voltage systems
- Spent 1 year with the local county Parks & Rec Maintenance team and volunteered with the Appalachian Mountain Bike Club for several years
- Have 7 years bike shop experience which included bike sales & repair, managing, purchasing, graphic design, marketing, trail building (in lowland rainforests), and leading cycle tours & clinics
- I’m certified in trail management & chainsaw cross-cutting.
- Self taught trail designer that has worked in U.S. National Forests and State Parks
- I hold a Bachelors of Science in Business Admin & Marketing
I love working with my hands and look forward to hopefully putting these skills to work on whatever project you might need done.
