Rahul is currently co-founder and Partner at DoNew, a social enterprise pioneering mentorship-based learning to help individuals and teams reach their potential. Rahul is also Chief Technologist at Samagra, driving digital transformations for Indian state governments using open source software and by building internal team capacities. Rahul was Google’s first product manager in India, developing products like Google Finance, Maps, and Orkut. He also served as Chief Product Officer at Sokrati, later acquired by Dentsu-Japan and at National Instruments in Austin building LabVIEW. Rahul holds 9 patents, has spoken at the United Nations and TEDx, has served on various expert national committees including NDEAR, NETF, ODL, Digital University and micro credentials for skilling. He is an NEP Malaviya Mission Mentor helping drive NEP implementation in universities and an adjunct faculty and advisor at PCCOE helping implement Bachelors in Computer Science program in regional language. Rahul holds a Masters from Georgia Tech in Atlanta and Bachelors from VJTI Mumbai.
Dr. Jayakrishnan M, is currently Head Education Technology and Research with the IIT Madras BS Program. In the BS Program he primarily manages the group of instructors who are critical in the orchestration of the content and assessment. He also looks into the technology ecosystem of the project by guiding the product design and features along with managing the technology infrastructure. He is also supporting the initiative of SWAYAM and interfaces with the technology and policy teams involved on a day to day basis. Dr. Jayakrishnan completed his Masters and PhD from IIT Bombay, from Centre for Technology Alternatives for Rural Areas and Interdisciplinary Programme in Educational Technology respectively. He is a person passionate about the use of Information and Communication Technologies for Development of Education and has been working in the intersection of Technology, Pedagogy and Policy from 2018. His broad research interests lies in the area of Teacher Professional Development, Learning Analytics, Software Product Development and Sustainability.
