Hi, I’m Elizabeth—the designer behind StudioMAE.

After years working in architecture, I wanted to be more connected to the process, the people, and the places I help shape. StudioMAE is my way of doing that—designing spaces I believe in, and building some of them with my own hands. 

As a designer, a wife and a mom, I know that beauty is nothing without function—and that the best spaces are the ones that quietly work in the background of busy, meaningful lives. I love crafting spaces that feel good to be in and support how we move through the  world. Through simplicity and intention, I enjoy creating interiors that feel personal and grounded.

I started StudioMAE to create spaces that are honest, useful, and built for real life and budgets. I enjoy the process behind thoughtful solutions that meet real needs, not just trends. 

Outside of work, you’ll find me surrounded by plants, kids, or Great Danes—often all three.
