I love books: children's picture books with great art work, novels with funny, romantic or sad stories, and biographies about special and interesting people. I love cooking, especially baking cookies. Art is my passion. I love to paint on canvas and wood, make jewelry, etc.
I have been married since 1993 to my husband, Cleveland. He is a teacher and coach at Legacy High School. We have one daughter, Emma Lee. Emma is married and lives here in town.
I can not believe that I have been teaching since 1993. Time flies. My entire career has been spent teaching in Wichita Falls ISD. I started out at Kate Haynes in first grade. While at Haynes, I taught first, second, and reading over the years. Now at West, I have taught sixth, fifth and second. I adore second graders! I look forward to meeting you and your child.
