A little about me...I am the proud mother of a recent West Texas AMU graduate! She will become a full-fledged adult now leaving me with more money in my pocket. I wish!!! Now, if I could just get finished with my degree. I'm about four classes shy of a masters degree in education administration. Not sure what I want to do with it when I get it, though. I enjoy being in the classroom with the kids!

I'm also the wife to my wonderful Benson (his first name is Donald), who is so supportive in all of my adventures. We met in the military, so the last name just stuck! I will begin my summer adventures on 8 June. I'm taking my daughter, Kelsey, to Disney World for her graduation present. Then, we'll meet up with the rest of my east coast family for a week in Siesta Key, Florida. We all LOVE the beach, as most people do! After that, we'll head up the coastline stopping wherever we feel the need because we rarely make specific plans as to where or how long we go during our summer jaunts.

During the school year, though, you can find me at Barwise Middle School in Wichita Falls, Texas. I just completed my 10th year with the district! I teach 7th grade English Language Arts and Reading. Love it...most days!!! Next year, our 7th graders will be bringing their Chromebooks to the classroom, hence this training!
