Kindergarten

I love Kindergarten! For the past 17 years, I have divided my time between 4th grade and Kindergarten! I love both grades, but five-year olds are so much more fun! I get so excited when I see the light come on and my babies realize they can read! I love it when 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders come to me and say, "Mrs. McBroom, I miss your class!"

Having six grandchildren of my own (four boys and 2 girls), I see things with a new perspective from when my own children were young. Everything is new and fresh and exciting!

I have been married 42 years, and I consider my husband my greatest ally, confidant, and friend. He is a teacher, too, and we discuss the highlights of our day over supper! We have hopes and dreams for your children!
