About Me

My name is Cathy Casillas. I am the math instructional coach at Cunningham Elementary. This will be my 6th year at Cunningham and my 2nd year as the math coach. Prior to this position, I was the 5th grade math teacher. I love all things math, chocolate and coffee! I have a passion for teaching students and supporting the teachers on our campus!

I grew up here in Wichita Falls. I graduated from Rider High School and went on to attend and graduate from Midwestern State University. I graduated summa cum laude from MSU with a bachelor's degree of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. Upon graduating, I received the President's Medal of Excellence Award.

I have two girls and a wonderful husband. In my free time I love to go on walks, cook, and play games with my family. My favorite place to be is the lake! My husband and I grew up playing soccer and now we get to enjoy our daughters playing too!
