I may or may not have burnt a few things, covered myself in batter, added too many eggs, forgotten a cup of flour here and there, but in the end, at least it tasted good, most of the time.
Hi, my name is Jaime. I have minimal experience in the kitchen, and I have started this site to monitor my growth throughout this class. My topic is homemade Jewish food. If you could not tell by now, I'm Jewish, and several times every year, my entire house smells of my mom's homemade matzah ball soup. The smell of the soup itself, not to mention how delicious it is, brings me an infinite amount of joy and gives me a feeling of comfort. I wanted to not only learn the trick to mastering the matzah ball soup, but also to be able to share the joy that I experience during the Jewish Holidays with other people. So I am now setting off on my journey to attempt to learn to make homemade Jewish cuisine. Let us hope that if an explosion does occur, it is an explosion of flavor in my mouth.
