Where did you grow up and go to school?
I grew up in Westerly, Rhode Island, and I went to school at Tower Street Elementary, Westerly Middle School, and Westerly High School.
Have you worked at another school before?
For student teaching a couple years ago, I worked at North Kingston High School, and then Exeter West Greenwich Middle School.
What inspired you to become a teacher?
I was always kind of a history buff. I knew when I took Mr. Servidio's class for APUSH I wanted to become a history teacher.
What is your favorite part about teaching at WHS?
Being in a relaxed but professional environment.
What are some of your hobbies and interests outside of school?
I like to draw and paint, I play guitar as well.
What motivates you to get up in the morning?
Teaching people history, I feel as if it's one of those subjects that’s not appreciated as much.
What is your greatest accomplishment?
Graduating from URI with high honors.
What is something that most students at WHS do not know about you?
In 2007 or 2008 when I was in 4th grade, I was in a commercial.
What is on the top of your bucket list?
Traveling, I definitely want to go to Germany, Hungary, Italy, and the Czech Republic, because that's where my family is from.
What are you most excited for this school year?
Teaching United States history for the first time throughout the whole year. In the past years, I’ve always started teaching halfway or even later.
