Neither of you know how to synchronize. On the one hand, Syb is confused by the mention, Suki is just startled by the inclusion of her in this part of the story. She was just content to just sit there in her grandfather's cabin while she waited for act 2 to end, but now she'll be part of the conclusion.
I suppose it's fitting that she's part of the ending of this act, seeming that the end of the first half of Act 2 ended with her sipping mocktails on a yacht. But more importantly, it ended with a segment where the players were split between Meowrage and Mew Mew (with some hints of Syb in there too). So, if Act 2 is to end this way, it might as well be echoing the first half, 250 pages later.
Anyways, you decide you've had enough synchronization for now, and you split back off.
