It looks like a chache of all of Meowrage's Grist that he's collected.  You hover over each one, the top one, Build Grist, the next one, Shale, and the next one is a mystery, but the one below that is Amber.  As shown before, you've used 25 build grist for the stairs, and 30 for the floor.  Besides that, the rest is new to you.  You know the Shale was used in the ENTRY ITEM, but how is out of your question. 

With the amount of build grist left, you could build a stair, but you couldn't build the floor for it.  As said before by you, Meowrage will need to get some more grist.
