Snow leopards

Have you heard of the snow leopard? They live in the Eastern Himalayas. A snow leopard is 3.6 ft long and for an adult the snow leopard weighs about 72 pounds. In the words of https://www.nationalgeographic.com they say that “ A snow leopard has grey and white fur with long tails. They can also blend in with the snow so they can stalk their prey.” The snow leopard eats prey that is three times their own weight. Some types are Blue sheep, Argali wild sheep, Ibex marmots, pikas, deer etc. My favorite fact about the snow leopard is how it can eat prey twice their size.

Did you know about the Eastern Himalayas? The Eastern Himalayas extend to about 2,500 km long. It is located in several different places. According to world wildlife.org those places are Bhutan, China.India, and Nepal. The eastern Himalayas feature a tropical montane climate. The Eastern Himalayas are hot and wet all year round. Some of the geological features of the Himalayas include soaring heights, steep-sided jagged peaks, valley and alpine glaciers often of

stupendous size. My favorite fact about the Eastern Himalayas is their steep mountains.

The mountains look incredibly beautiful because of their steep shape.
