About myself

Hello! My name is Allison Maza, and I'm 17 years old. Currently, I am a Senior at Apex high school, and I am a part of the Apex cross country team, a member of dance club (and class), a member of NHS (national honors society), and a member of NAHS (National Art Honors Society). An interesting fact about me is I am actually red-green colorblind, however, that doesn't stop me from living life to the fullest! Some of my interests include running, guitar, writing, drawing, karate, dance, and more. I am also in love with the outdoors, and try to get a breath of fresh air whenever I can! I have a 9- year-old golden labrador named Scotty, and he loves to come on runs with me as well.

After high school, I wish to go to a college that will set me up for the life I hope to have. I hope to use my skills for good, and one of my dream jobs is to be an author. Although, when it comes to creativity, I don't really have limits! In school, my favorite subject is English, but I also like learning about history. I'm always excited to learn more, and no matter what challenges face me, my main goal is always to persevere and try my best! In the collage below, I included two pictures of me (one of them at my favorite place- the beach), a picture of my dog Scotty, an image of a guitar with beautiful white flowers (to emphasize how pretty the instrument really is) and I included the starry night sky because it's always inspired me with its endless, unknown beauty.
