Review Imperfect the Series

I have to say that Imperfect The Series is worth my time. Created by Ernest Prakasa, this web series is a spin-off of the story of the boarding house gang in the film Imperfect (2019). The series itself was released in 2021. This web series stars Kiky Saputri, Zsa Zsa Utari, Neneng Wulandari, Aci Resti, and Dewi Irawan as the main characters.
This series takes place a year before the film "Imperfect." At that time Dika had not yet met Rara, and was working on a photography project outside the city. The story focuses on the four young girls who live together in the same boarding house. Each character faces their unique and twisted problems. However, the common thread of the series' conflict is in Neti's love story.
What I like most about this series is how it develops the comedy out of each character's personalities. Each has a very unique character. The four female characters are all successful and stand out in presenting their personalities.
Talking about the conflict, Imperfect the Series has a central conflict that makes the audience curious to continue watching. Yet, each episode also has minor conflicts that are resolved in one episode.
However, in terms of story or drama aspects, I don't have much to say. I think this series is just trying to have fun with comedy which I think is remarkable. Compared to Cek Toko Sebelah, another comedy series, Imperfect the Series has a better transition story plot from drama to comedy.
Overall, Imperfect The Series is a fresh Indonesian TV series with a well-delivered message (self-acceptance) and entertaining comedy. I recommend it if you like light dramas with a bunch of hilarious comedy. I give it a rating of 9.0/10.
