MIDDLE SCHOOL FREE PYTHON CAMP IS OPEN!
We are a student-led High School Coding Team at The King’s Academy, passionate about making computer science accessible to all. Our mission is to inspire creativity, empower students through coding education, and foster leadership in technology.
This year, the High School Coding Team at The King’s Academy, led by Dayeon Lim and Katelyn Fan, brought computer science education to over 100 students. Team members taught Scratch, Python, and introductory machine learning to 48 TKA junior high students, 27 TKA elementary students, and 6 students in China. In addition to teaching, the team raised $2,000 for Voice of Calling, supporting machine learning education for 30+ high school and college students in Tanzania. Through both local and international outreach, the Coding Team is committed to using technology as a tool for service and global impact.
Accomplishments
Dayeon Lim (11th Grade) earned 1st place in the Advanced Division at the Lockheed Martin Code Quest Competition (Virtual).
Logan Chan (11th Grade) and Matthew Chang (11th Grade) earned 1st place in the Novice Division at the Lockheed Martin Code Quest Competition (Sunnyvale).

Membership requirements:
Meetings on Tuesday/Thursday (emailed dates) in A10. If you are going to miss a meeting, please email Dayeon or Katelyn ahead of time.
You will be required to participate in at least 1 competition & log 5+ hours per semester.
